Dutch trio Kraak & Smaak have joined forces with regular collaborator IVAR on new single ‘Persuade You’, out 12th November.
Channeling the energy of Motown and Stax Records, ‘Persuade You’ is an orchestral groover combining delicate strings, soulful live drums and slick guitars – a wonderful opera of blazing funk.
Coming off the back of a sold out show at prestigious London venue The Garage, the new single follows the recent six-track EP ‘Scirocco’, while the trio also released a remix package for their 2019 album Pleasure Centre earlier in the year.
Consisting of Oscar de Jong, Mark Kneppers and Wim Plug, Kraak & Smaak’s impressive performance and studio career have seen the trio consistently create refreshing records and outstanding DJ and live moments across a storied career.
A group that continues to evolve with every release, ‘Persuade You’ suggests Kraak & Smaak have no plans on taking their foot off the gas anytime soon.
