Since opening on December 2nd until closing on April 10th, L’Abarset has brought together more than 100,000 people during its second season. A massive audience attracted by the unbeatable experience provided. Few places can offer the perfect experience of a day’s skiing in Grandvalira El Tarter combined with the highest quality cuisine and the best electronic music programming of the European winter.
“Our position has grown significantly, which has been reflected in the business. We continue to maintain our goal of being a local and international leader, and the truth is that we are doing what we set out to do. Our approach is to offer diversified leisure activities combined with the quality of the restaurant which has managed to provide new value to Andorra as a tourist destination.” – Alex Orué, Director of Hospitality and Corporate.
“This year has been a big challenge for everyone. We knew we had a stand-out product, but we needed both the staging and the operation to be impeccable if we wanted to achieve success. The feedback from customers, sponsors, and collaborators has been really positive. We are incredibly grateful to the teams and the public. Without them, none of this would have been possible. And although this second season has been a new success, we continue to learn so that the next ones will be even better.” – Bruna Sedó Molina, Brand Manager.
L’Abarset is dedicated to continuing to lead the musical programs of the European winter season. This year the après-ski location has received top artists such as Solardo, 2manydjs, Edu Imbernon, Dennis Cruz, Anna Tur, and Marco Faraone. It has also worked closely with some of the current and best international brands to bring top-level events to Andorra for the first time. These include musical concepts that are revolutionizing the scene such as Brunch Electronik, GreenWorld, Family Piknik, and the Argentine party Bresh.
“We really value the time we have spent with L’Abarset and Grandvalira. We did 5 events and were sold out for 4 of them. We believe that the combination of L’Abarset, Grandvalira, and Brunch Electronik works perfectly and has a great future ahead of it. In fact, we are already considering repeating the same format next year.” – Loic, from Brunch Electronik.
“When we decided to take our brand from the Canary Islands to Andorra, we saw a huge impact in the islands. We love the connection we have managed to establish between L’Abarset in Andorra and GreenWorld in Tenerife. I believe that the two together have the power and capability of facing new and larger projects in the future. I have been very surprised by the high level of demand that the L’Abarset team sets for itself every day. It has been really easy working together, and it would be fantastic to repeat next season.” – José Luis Langa Lens, from GreenWorld.
The performances by Fatboy Slim at one of the Brunch Electronik events and from Wade during the world cup were undoubtedly highlights, as were the performances from Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Nicole Moudaber, and Wally López during the closing week. They clearly marked a before and after for L’Abarset. In fact, last weekend alone saw 4,000 people enjoying après-ski there.
“Closing has been a reward for all of us who have been part of it. After months of hard work and a lot of effort from all teams, we were able to count ourselves amongst the biggest names in the industry and proudly sold out. However, what really gives meaning to all this is being able to offer the public the possibility to enjoy this experience. The enthusiasm and passion that we have all put into it are what truly makes it possible. I would like to reaffirm the enormous value that L’Abarset brings to a destination like Andorra, a project that attracts new markets and improves the experience for all those who want to enjoy the destination.” – Alex Orué, Director of Hospitality and Corporate.
Clients’ reviews:
“I went for a drink after skiing and I have to say that there is a great atmosphere both from customers and the waitstaff. The day I went really made me want to go back. I will definitely return because it’s so worth it!” – Alicia Nati Green.
“The place itself is very beautiful, with incredible lighting next to the mountain. You can normally go for a drink in the open area while listening to a DJ and then go to the restaurant for dinner. The food is very good and the prices are not as high as you might think. Don’t miss trying the grilled edamame, asparagus with parmesan cream, and lamb tacos with yogurt and eggplant” – Andrés Pereda Medrano.
“New experience in a new world within the mountains. Excellent live music, gastronomy, and services. A pleasure, thank you!” – Carles Ribas.
Once again, L’Abarset‘s expertise and team have achieved its objectives and reached expectations, placing it amongst the best après-ski locations in Europe. Now, the only thing to do is to wait for the first snowfall and for the ski slopes to open in autumn to enjoy a new season in L’Abarset, which will not disappoint!
