L’Abarset surprises in the last stretch of the season
L’Abarset is preparing to face the last stretch of the season with an incredible schedule. The person in charge of premiering it on Friday, March 1 was the Spanish JAECJOSS, who was followed by the American Layla Benitez on Saturday the 2nd.
BRESH, the party that has successfully conquered the world from Argentina, will return to L’Abarset on Friday, March 8, setting the dance floor ablaze with hits. The following day, March 9, belongs to Hector Couto, one of the prominent figures in the current Tech House scene. His sound is described as the perfect blend of Chicago House and old-school Techno, a grand statement that the DJ has consistently lived up to.
On Thursday, March 14, the Après-ski‘s monthly resident, SIMPLY J, an iconic figure at L’Abarset since its inception, will take over the DJ booth.
The Brunch Electronik and L’Abarset tandem has proven to be one of the most effective in the industry through several events. Hence, during this final stretch of the season, the Après-ski audience will have the opportunity to enjoy it twice. The first encounter will take place on Friday, March 15, featuring Gordo with an Extended Set. This Guatemalan-American-Brazilian DJ and producer, known for his blend of Hip Hop, Trap, and Tech House, is currently a sensation.
Fedele, specializing in exploring the tension between maximum impact and the most subliminal experimentation, will land on Saturday, March 16. His sound merges avant-garde Electro sonic effects with the drive of Techno and the complex emotional expression derived from his experience as a violinist.
Saturday, March 23, will see the turn of Fer BR, one of the most interesting artists among the new wave of Spanish DJs. His style is characterized by creating energetic yet elegant grooves, combined with futuristic elements of Dark Funk, resulting in a sound perfectly adapted to the dance floor.
The Berlin-based label Toy Tonics, a collective dedicated to House and Disco with influences from Soul and Indie, will take control of the Après-ski booth on Thursday, March 28, with the assistance of Gee Lane and one of its creators, Sam Ruffillo. The former has become a regular at Primavera Sound, DGTL, and Sonar, thanks to her extraordinary vinyl collection. The latter has quickly revitalized Mediterranean Disco and Funky House, which, along with the incorporation of Italian vocals, has become his signature.
Wally López, a classic in the Spanish House scene, will perform at L’Abarset on Friday, March 29. The owner and creator of Factoria Records and Factomania Group is one of the most influential and established names in the Iberian electronic industry.
On Saturday, March 30, the Après-ski will have a surprise guest whose identity will be revealed very soon.
To wrap it up, on Monday, April 1, Brunch Electronik will return to L’Abarset, this time with John Digweed, Øostil, and Mariano Mellino. Digweed is one of the staunch supporters of the underground scene, earning him the favor of the audience. Øostil offers a unique sonic experience inspired by Techno melodies and organic, minimalist sounds that open the doors to a new reality. Lastly, the Buenos Aires-native Mariano Mellino is one of the rising stars in the current Progressive House scene in Argentina.
L’Abarset
Under the slogan “The Peak of Après-ski“, L’Abarset elevates the 2024 season by further enhancing its offering based on music, gastronomy, and the exclusivity of VIP experiences.
Among the numerous novelties is the expansion of its lineup with top-tier DJs and an extension of the gastronomic proposal with tapas and cocktails in the afternoons.
The major novelty is the new space that exclusively extends the Après-ski on Saturdays. This is accompanied by Goiko in a Foodtruck format, offering its gourmet burgers on wheels.
If in recent years it had already established itself as an absolute reference for the European winter season, now it aims to go beyond, being more timeless and taking every detail of its proposal to excellence.
Set in a dreamlike and high-quality architectural framework, its invitation is clear: make Andorra vibrate for its audience, whether local, national, or international.
