Brazilian powerhouse duos Fancy Inc and Chemical Surf team up for their new track “Darkness” on a brand new, cutting-edge record label. Meet LABRNTH, an imprint focusing on startup and established artists sitting on the side of the sonic so-called “mainstream,” and it’s the only labyrinth you’ll want to stay in once you lose yourself within it. Coming from the south of Brazil, the music producer duo Matheus Rodrigues and Adriano Dub, aka Fancy Inc formed in 2014. They reached notoriety in 2019, an extremely prolific year for them due to a steady stream of hit releases. From “My Girl” in partnership with Vintage Culture, which reached #1 on the Beatport Dance Chart, to “In The Dark,” which reached #1 on the US Billboard Dance Chart and has been certified Platinum twice, to “Say My Name” with Bruno Be. Only these 3 tracks garnered more than 50M plays collectively across all digital platforms. Climbing the charts and having support from the main players in the market, Fancy Inc became a reference in the scene for popularizing the progressive house genre in Brazil. It’s impossible not to recognize the duo’s signature style when listening to their music, which led to invitations to officially remix David Guetta (Warner), Becky Hill (Universal), Joel Correy & MNEK (Atlantic), and Robin Schulz (Warner) to name a few. In addition to working with the biggest labels, in 2021 they released their single “Free” in collaboration with Vintage Culture and Roland Clark. In less than 2 weeks, the track reached the #1 spot on Beatport‘s main chart.

Brazilian brother duo Luca and Hugo Sanches are together behind Chemical Surf which has become known for their high energy and rhythmic style. They have recently worked with Kaskade, Steve Aoki and put their own spin on MEDUZA‘s “Tell It To My Heart” and many others. Prior to releasing on LABRNTH, Chemical Surf‘s music has found a home on labels such as Dim Mak, Spinnin’ Records, STMPD RCRDS, Musical Freedom, Armada, Sony, and Warner, to name a few. Chemical Surf challenges the electronic music status quo by breaking the lines between genres.
