Barcelona-based Lamliki delivers two strong summertime shakers for Karmaloft Music. Alongside the deep house foundation, Lamliki’s soul and jazz influences are recognizable in “Never Give Up,” and Ananada’s vocal chops top the song off with an undeniably catchy appeal. Munich-based Tom Appl provides minor but effective touches that make all the difference in his remix, and Matthias Freudmann turns the original’s intensity up a notch. “Try To Believe,” Lamliki’s second offering, features a ’90s organ pulse and, once again, infectious vocal repetition. These tunes should find themselves at home at beach bars, terraces, and the like with party season in full swing. Give them a spin.
