Today, Lane 8 aka Daniel Goldstein gives us another taste of his anticipated forthcoming debut album, Rise (out July 17th on Anjunadeep), with “Hot As You Want (feat. Solomon Grey).” Premiered by SPIN and BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, it follows the haunting first single, “Ghost (feat. Patrick Baker),” which was recently featured by Billboard, Noisey and Thump.
“Hot As You Want” is an intense, leftfield house cut with emotive vocals that complement Daniel’s brooding lyrics and energetic grooves. Lane 8 first collaborated with Solomon Grey to widespread acclaim on another Rise track, “Diamonds,” receiving support from Fact Magazine, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Jason Bentley and more.
