Largest US water park festival Wet Electric announces Diplo as first headliner

The country’s largest water park music festival returns Saturday, April 29, 2017, to Big Surf Waterpark in Tempe, Arizona. Presented by Activated Presents and Relentless Beats, Wet Electric is pleased to announced Diplo as the first headliner to this kickoff of the Arizona Summer. In addition to the Mad Decent label head, Wet Electric will be announcing its biggest lineup to date in the coming weeks. As the 7th edition of this massive pool party, the event features world renowned artists and DJ’s, the largest wave pool in the country, waterslides, luxury cabanas, bars and much more. Wet Electric is a truly unique experience as it combines the thrills of a water park along with the sights and sounds of an electronic music festival.
 
“We are ecstatic to have Diplo grace the massive floating stage at Wet Electric," says Activated Presents founder Steve Thacher. “Each year this party gets bigger and better and with this year the fan experience will be over the top ."
 
Big Surf Waterpark is located in Tempe, Arizona and features a 2.5 million gallon wave pool, which is the largest in the country. The park features rides, slides, and all the features of the waterpark. Wet Electric will be fans first chance to experience Big Surf for the season, which officially opens on May 6th.
 
VIP passes, as well as the Super Party Pack Daybed Packages, Big Wave Cabana Packages and Big Baller Packages are available starting at $99 plus fees. Lockers are available for rent at $15 plus fees.
