Transforming Electric Brixton into a never before arena of house and techno, Last Night On Earth will leave it’s magnificent and globally recognized mark on one of the capital’s most revered venues with Sasha taking center stage all night long.
Sasha and his Last Night On Earth movement have set a much-envied benchmark for the dance music’s international community. Conquering the world’s most prestigious DJ booths, most notably fans recall the sold out New Years Eve celebrations in 2013 at the Brixton Academy. They also reminisce about the packed-out LNOE arena at South West Four 2014, which saw some innovative live performances from Paul Kalkbrenner, Booka Shade and Henry Saiz.
Recognized as one of electronic music’s leading imprints, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth has become renowned for consistently purveying the very best in underground sounds. Recent output includes an EP from US-born and Berlin resident Ambivalent, plus a full-length album from Chicagoans Kate Simko & Tevo Howard slated for imminent release. Coupled with the new monthly label podcast, showcasing classic mixes alongside fresh cuts and snippets from the studio, LNOE is reaching a truly global audience.
Over the past few years The Electric has come to be known as best venues for electronic music. Some of dance music’s biggest players including John Digweed, Eats Everything, Maceo Plex & Maya Jane Coles have all played the old theatre within the last twelve months.
