Laura Jadi Releases Powerful Alt-Pop Single ‘don’t get too close’

Laura Jadi, a multi-faceted artist known for blending pop, R&B, EDM, and alternative influences, has released her most vulnerable single to date, “don’t get too close.” Inspired by artists like Raye and Sevdaliza, Laura continues to push musical boundaries, merging haunting melodies with deeply personal lyrics that explore the pain of past trauma, abusive relationships, and the journey of healing.

The track stands out for its alternative pop sound, striking a balance between atmospheric verses and explosive choruses that grip the listener from the start. Laura describes the creation of the song as an almost feverish process, beginning with a repetitive chant that echoed in her mind during a period of deep dissociation.
