As the summer draws near, Le Visiteur has been locked in the studio prepping an arsenal packed full of serious dancefloor weapons. Fusing the finest elements of house music, disco and everything in-between; this mysterious character doesn’t need to explain his sound though, it’s all laid out for you to hear for yourself on ‘The Reason EP’.
Released on Mighty Mouse’s Nightfilm imprint, the EP has been bolstering staunch support from across the scene – each of its three tracks perfectly showcasing the production talent that has seen Le Visiteur performing on some of the world’s biggest stages.
Opening with ‘Reason’, the EP opens with an exploration of the deeper side of house, its vocal and haunting bassline making this the perfect track to kickstart proceedings. Moving on to ‘Will She Be There’, Le Visiteur has combined the vocal talents of Nick Paterson with a bassline that that is guaranteed to have heads nodding; available as a free download, this is the track that will feed the requirements of any dancefloor. And finally, the EP closes with ‘Get Down’ – a G-house inspired cut that mixes a seriously funky bassline with dark synths and a distinctly 3am warehouse vibe.
Make no mistake, this won’t be the last time you hear from Le Visiteur – if this is your first encounter then The Reason EP is a perfect introduction and example of what this connoisseur of all things house and disco can do in the production studio. Be sure, Le Visiteur will be sticking around for a while.
