It’s a brave man to handle such a classic track as Alice Deejay’s “Better Off Alone”, but then Lemi Vice isn’t know as someone afraid to experiment when it comes to getting creative. His 2024 rework “Better Off Vlone” manages to keep the spirit of the original while still drenching it in 21st century elements. Twisting and turning in tempo, underpinning sampled stabs with depth-charged basslines, and switching up the vocal line’s iconic gender, Vice makes the single his own in spades.
The Indianapolis-based DJ and producer now sits on a huge raft of new music set to launch across 2025, which he promises will bring the masses “more of what they want.” A seasoned producer and DJ specialising in house music for more than a decade, Vice has cross crossed the country taking his inimitable style to hundreds of dance floors and festival arenas. A firm fan favourite, will 2025 be the year Lemi Vice breaks through into international waters?
