After a string of successful contributions to the Toolroom Records catalogue, Leonardo Gonnelli presents his debut artist release on the label with his ‘When You See EP’.
Raised on an enthralling combination of acid, funk and Detroit techno, Leonardo Gonnelli cultivated and adapted these early influences to create an unmistakable sound for himself. An innovative producer, specialising in a cool, crisp tech sound, Leonardo Gonnelli’s energy and versatility is obvious in every release.
Heading up this two track EP, ‘When You See’ is the perfect example of Leonardo Gonnelli’s production prowess, a driving tech house track with Leonardo’s signature bass accompanied by a cleverly sequenced vocal; this is one for the afterhours parties. ‘Noise Underground’ is dark and techy with an energetic groove and expertly manipulated vocals; this is a track created for the deepest depths of the darkest dancefloors.
