Italian DJ & producer Less Hate (aka Mattia Marotta, aka Nihil Young) has come on the scene quite recently by most House Music standards, but the tunes he’s put out have been getting a good buzz with support from the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., George Morel, Danny Tenaglia,German Brigante,Giom,Kolombo,Tony Humphries, Laurent Garnier,Technasia,Animal Trainer and others. He’s also seen a few releases on King Street & step-sister label Street King over the past couple of years with some Original & super-dope remixes. King Street has been known to break new artists in its 20+ year history and it’s always looking to break new ground. Enter Less Hate who now comes to us with a full debut artist album jam-pa cked with musical flavors, musical Partners, and 3 exclusive mixes for this very special Beatport edition of Memento. Every track on this album has a special feel-good sensibility combined with real production quality from the bouncy instrumental “Peace” to the delectable collab he did with Deep House Master DJ/Producer, Jerome Robins, “Empty” feat. the vocal talents of German-based singer/songwriter, Hllywd, and “Looking At You” he did with EU outfit, Inner Rebels, the album starts off with a even Housey keel. Up next though, is a super synthy downtempo tech track collab with German singer/songwriter Mehrklang and “One of a kind,” followed by a far-out funky team-up with alien producers 7th Star and “Party With Me.” The album takes a slightly darker turn with De Sade & Death Bird ‘s “Perception” and a few effective collabs with Deep House maven, Valentina Black also featuring vocals by London songstress Grace Ashaye.
