Angel Heredia & Jerome Robins rework a classic
Spanish DJ and producer Angel Heredia has joined forces with Canadian based Jerome Robins to rework a classic – ‘Let’s Go.’ Delving into jackin’ house, deep house and all things in between, this one is overflowing with energy from start to finish, replicating the roots of the original, whilst revamping it with the cutting edge of Zulu Records’ formula. Now on their 117th release and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down, Zulu pull out all of the stops yet again and there’s no wonder why Firebeatz, Max Vangeli, Thomas Gold,D.O.N.S, Judge Jules and MDE have all given the track and the label a big thumbs up already. There’s no denying that you’ll be hearing a lot more of ‘Let’s Go’ on dancefloors around the globe in the near future – both reminiscing and futuristic, it ticks pretty much every box when it comes to reworking a track.
Full to the brim with danceability, the long build-ups and big impact drops are sure to gain huge reactions on the dancefloor. The iconic bassline rumbles beneath chunky drums, heavy hi-hats and addictive vocal hooks that add a new lease of life to both the melody and overall feel of the track. With elements of jackin’ house, quick synth stabs and bouncing keyboard hits, there is plenty of groove to keep things moving from start to finish here.
It was never going to be an easy task taking on one of the biggest tracks in dance music, but Angel Heredia and Jerome Robins have definitely done it justice here. Keeping the spirit of the original whilst exploring their own production and genre styles, this is a rework that will certainly fall nicely under the “crowd-pleaser” category.
