Mikaela & Kike Medina (inc. SIS Remix) - Let’s Go EP

Returning to her Love The Underground Records imprint, Mikaela has teamed up with Spanish producer Kike Medina in two high-octane originals with Crosstown Rebel’s stalwart SIS providing a rhythmic remix.

Mikaela’s Love The Underground Records has quickly established itself as a formidable label and event series, with a 16-week summer residency at Pacha's Tox Club in Ibiza, a Barcelona OFF Week showcase featuring Nicole Moudaber and Tania Volcano, not to mention a roster spanning the likes of Miguel Bastida, RJay Murphy and Artslaves.

In the fourth release Mikaela pairs up with Madrid’s Kike Medina, whose year has seen him release on Old School Department, Lemon-aid and Inside, for a groove-led outing destined to throw dancefloors into frenzy.

Built on a chugging bassline, ‘Hurry Up’ marches forward with solid kicks and intermittent drum rolls whilst chilling atmospherics operate throughout. ‘Let’s Go’ then demonstrates an uncompromising energy courtesy of infectious hats, stuttering claps and echoing effects, before Turkish producer SIS delivers a rolling remix with sinister whirrs, bubbly aesthetics and heady undertones.

Mikaela & Kike Medina ‘Let’s Go’ EP drops on Love The Underground Records on 29th January 2015.

Tracklist
