Lewis Thompson unveils infectious anthem ‘No Promises’
BRITISH HITMAKER LEWIS THOMPSON RELEASES INFECTIOUS HOUSE ANTHEM
British hitmaker Lewis Thompson has dropped his new single ‘No Promises’. Listen HERE.
Combining garage esque-vocals, pumping kicks and crisp hats, the 90s tinged house production and is primed to become one of 2023’s biggest dance anthems.
Speaking about the release Lewis says: ‘No Promises’ is a fun, playful, feel-good dance record. The song is about someone showing someone else ‘the time of their life’, if they treat them right. I got into making music from a free CD I collected from a cereal box promo when I was about 14, so I wanted the creative for the song to reflect that too.
‘No Promises’ follows on from singles including ‘Enchanté’ ft Clementine Douglas, ‘Take Me Back’ alongside David Guetta and most recent single ‘Side Effects’ with Becky Hill, which hit the UK Official Top 40, reached #3 in the UK Airplay Charts and has amassed over 20 million global streams. Lewis’ rapid rise to success has seen his garner key tastemaker support from BBC Radio 1, Charlie Hedges, Kiss Dance, Capital Dance, Hunger and Wonderland.
With producing and writing credits on 8 Top 10 UK singles and already over 5 billion streams behind him, Lewis has carved a name for himself as one of the most prolific and in demand producers on the scene. Lewis was named ASCAP Songwriter of the Year 2022, and has produced and co-written some of the UK’s biggest hits including Joel Corry’s ‘Sorry’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Out Out’, ‘Bed’, ‘Head & Heart’, Anne-Marie & Little Mix’s collaboration ‘Uh Oh’ and ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’ with David Guetta, Ella Henderson and Becky Hill.
‘No Promises’ is out now and looks set to cement Lewis Thompson’s position as one of the UK’s most exciting DJs and producers to watch.
