2015 Mobo Awards nominee for ‘Best Jazz Act’ Julia Biel is back with a new EP ‘Licence To Be Cruel’, comprising of five remixes (including ones from Son Lux and Soothsayers) taken from her latest album ‘Love Letters and Other Missiles’, giving a fresh electronica spin to her wealth of crossover influences – out November 20th. Julia’s credits include featuring as lead vocalist on Mercury Prize nominated post-jazzers Polar Bear albums ‘Dimlit’ and ‘Polar Bear’, as well as collaborating as with ex-Everything But the Girl’s Ben Watt, on ‘Bright Star’ (produced by Stimming) and ‘Guinea Pig’ and Hidden Orchestra (Tru Thoughts).
