July will see Knee Deep In Sound release Yousef’s ‘Life Is Too Short’ accompanied by remixes from Habischman and Romano Alfieri.
Circus Founder Yousef who celebrates 15 years of Circus this year is a household name in contemporary electronic music with releases on Desolat, BPitch and Cocoon. With upcoming material coming out on Crosstown Rebels, the Liverpool born producer is certainly a force to be reckoned with.
The original mix of ‘Life Is Too Short’ takes the lead with snaking bass grooves, emotive strings alongside robust drums and female vocal lines. Habischman’s remix follows and employs stuttering arpeggio bass and a direct dance floor drum groove as the foundation whilst working in snippets from the original’s strings throughout.
Romano Alfieri’s rework then closes the package, stripping things back with organic percussion, pulsating low end and twinkling piano’s layered over Yousef’s stunning strings melodies and soaring vocals.
Yousef’s ‘Life Is Too Short’ is out on Knee Deep In Sound 14th July 2017.
