Today, Life On Planets released his Dreamcatcher EP on TOKiMONSTA’s Young Art imprint. Previously released EP singles ‘Altitude’ and ‘Atlantis’ introduced us to the otherworldly through Life On Planets’ mystical lyricism and fantastical imagery. Now with the entire Dreamcatcher project released, we bear witness to the full evolution of Life’s creative process and observe the story as a whole.

Using his voice as an essential instrument in his tracks, Life On Planets crafts earthy, abstract soundscapes that evoke the feeling of being told a private story. To Life, songwriting is a cathartic experience, a savored ritual integral to grounding his music in the zeitgeist. While singles ‘Altitude’ and ‘Karma’ are rooted more in reality, drawing from Life’s own personal experiences, ‘Dreamcatcher’ and ‘Atlantis’ look beyond human nature as he dabbles with wonder and paints pictures of the astrological realm.

Baltimore grown Life On Planets has come a long way from his busking days at the 33rd St. Farmers Market. His unstoppable ability to combine moreish hip-hop beats with textured house cuts and raw, trap rhythms has seen him perform at sought-after events around the world. Dirtybird Campinn, Brooklyn Made, and CRSSD introduced Life On Planets to audiences across the US; while recent performances at Desert Hearts Festival as well as at The Do LaB stage at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have kept up momentum before he heads on tour in the US.
Previously, Life On Planets released Nomad Lyfe, a two-sided EP featuring vocal led, thumping dance floor tracks in January 2022 on Walker & Royce’s Rules Don’t Apply imprint; and his King of the Block EP, which debuted in February on Snakehips’ Never Worry label.
