Lifelike drops his new thrilling single Golden Boy on Computer Science

Lifelike, one of the pioneers of the French electronic music scene, returns with his brand-new single Golden Boy, available on all digital platforms starting November 15th, 2024. This club track, with its vibrant and dazzling sound, promises to get electronic music fans moving with its dynamic beats and retro-futuristic melodies.

Golden Boy is a true homage to the disco and synthwave influences of the 1980s, capturing the essence of Lifelike’s unique style by blending deep basslines with bright synthesizer arrangements. The single is an ode to freedom, carefree living, and positive energy—central themes for the artist, who continues to push the boundaries of electronic music through his compositions.

Lifelike, renowned for his collaborations and remixes with major international electronic music artists such as Daft Punk, Giorgio Moroder, Moby, Cerrone, Empire Of The Sun, and more, once again establishes himself as a global electro heavyweight with this new release. It marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his musical journey.

The single is the first of Lifelike’s forthcoming series of releases, which will include collaborations with worldwide stars such as Vitalic, A-Trak (Duck Sauce / Armand Van Helden), Chromeo, and Electric Youth (from the Drive movie soundtrack).

About Lifelike:
Almost every record released by Lifelike (aka Laurent Ash) since his worldwide club hit Discopolis in 2005 on Alan Braxe’s Vulture label (150,000 physical copies sold worldwide, Top 20 UK Charts, Number 1 Belgium Club Charts) gained instant support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Annie Mac. Leading outlets such as DJ Mag, Mixmag, and Future Music Magazine have praised his productions as “a sure-fire hit on dance floors,” “walking that smooth and sexy line between nu-disco, new wave, and funk,” and described him as “a master of crafting credible dance floor beasts.”

With Golden Boy, Lifelike continues his legacy of creating timeless, dancefloor-ready tracks that blend nostalgic charm with modern innovation.
