Jay X is back with a brand new 3-track EP titled ‘Brain Disorder’ that is guaranteed to provide you with all the Techno goodness you need to get you through. The first track on the EP is called 303 Bass and it does what it says on the tin as Jay leans into that heavier 303 sound throughout the entire track. He kicks things off with a subtle funky beat before a pumping kick takes over. Setting the pace with a multitude of layered percussion you can truly take a deeper look to his experience and talent as every hit is precise yet intricate before taking things up a notch half way through to a deeper intensity and full force.

The second track is called ‘Drum Machine’ which again, is percussive focused with tight hi-hats consuming the intro before a clap meets the beat and adding new depths. ‘Drum Machine’ has an eerie feel to the music and the melodic pressure that sits in the background begins the rise. This tune has an infectious groove and a reserved power to it that makes it a track worth paying attention to. The final production, ‘Resonance Filter’ is relentless from the very moment you press play as flutters of melodies and sound effects weave in and out of the beat as short stabs of chords tie elements together. ‘Resonance Filter’ is then absorbed with bassy goodness that keeps you interested and leaves you wanting more.

Having spent his time going to various venues on the Roman riviera, Jay X fell in love with the world of music. Night life fascinated him so much that he decided to start DJ’ing. He began his career in 1992 on Roman radio. Here he delved deep into his exploration of House and Techno. His passion for music inspired him to experiment with new sounds and techniques whilst recording his productions and has gone on to release critically acclaims hits such as ‘Speed Contact’, ‘Launch Control’ and ‘Fire Face’.
