Fresh from the release of his critically acclaimed new single Flores alongside label mate Emanuel Satie on March 10, internationally celebrated French producer and Scenarios label boss Maga now continues his emphatic run of first-rate studio output with the unveiling of his eagerly-anticipated Circoloco Radio guest mix debut.
A mesmerising hour-long ride through some of the finest iterations of underground house and deep, ethereal techno, Maga’s inaugural outing for the Circoloco crew delivers everything we’ve come to expect and more from the now Lisbon-based powerhouse. Kicking off with Satie’s 2023 hit Dreaming (Of The Love We Never Had), Maga journeys through a total of ten carefully curated cuts – including new music from Adrian Roman, Crystal Quest, Roman Shazse, Rafael Da Cruz and a slew of special unreleased edits from the man himself – as he gives us a first-hand insight into his acutely honed craft as a both a multi-faceted producer and globe-trotting selector. “It’s an absolute pleasure to have been invited onto the Circoloco podcast and I wanted to create something special that represents the essence of my DJ sets. The mix is mostly made up of exclusive new Maga edits for some of my favourite records and the latest releases from my label Scenarios.” – Maga
Circoloco is amongst the most sought after party brands in the world, with multiple international residencies at some of the foremost temples of dance music, as well as at leading festivals and conferences on all continents. Founded in 1999, the beginnings of Circoloco at DC10 in Ibiza could hardly be more humble. At a virtually unknown location, the iconic Monday morning session started a clubbing revolution that has made an enduring impact on the shape of modern club culture. Since then, the ubiquitous Crazy Clown face has travelled around the world as a beacon of the party ethos of Circoloco, becoming a symbol for the underground spirit of dance music culture and the most copied clubbing imagery ever.
