Snapping up Rap gatekeepers to her corner, ‘Thanos’ is putting Lizzy Waps firmly on the map as Charlie Sloth, Tiffany Calver, Manny Norte, Snoochie Shy and KanDMan & Limelight have tipped the star for great things.
Boasting a dynamic range of true storytelling and catchy sing-along melodies, south London’s LIZZY WAPS quickly caught the eyes of industry veterans when she brought her talents to the table in 2018. Fast forward to 2020, armed with go-to producer MobzBeatz (whose previous catalogue includes Pop Smoke, Headie One, OFB and Loski), LIZZY WAPS is ready to snap back on the scene.
Turning experience into creative expression, switching effortlessly between velvet R&B tones and hazardous slang-heavy flows, LIZZY WAPS raps unapologetically over MobzBeatz abrasive and adrenaline-fuelled production with ease. ‘Thanos (One Snap)’ gives a snapshot insight into the perspective of a young couple caught in the life of London’s underbelly, making ends meet by any means necessary, but regardless of the situation, LIZZY WAPS maintains the streets vow: “I ain’t ‘gon snitch”.
