Rising Australian producer LO’99 has been making a name for himself this year. 2014 saw remixes under his belt for Sweat It Out and CRNKN, which has gained over 150,000 soundcloud plays, and he continues to add notches to that list with his forthcoming Kaskade remix.
Now teaming up with Bristol’s Marshall F who has had releases on Black Butter and most recently remixed Son Of Kick’s track, ‘Hours’, which reached the top 15 in Beatport’s Deep House Chart – together they have produced the official debut release on Medium Rare Records titled, ‘Take Me Back’.
The track combines a solid bassline with garage influenced drums and edgy chopped up re-vocal samples that gives ‘Take Me Back’ it’s addictive flavour. Indulging in a deep yet uplifting style of production, ‘Take Me Back’ marks the way for a taste-making first release.
Medium Rare Recordings was launched earlier in the year by four Australian producers – Benson, Terace, Tom Piper & Mike Metro. They recently released some free music by way of their ‘Local Cuts’ EP; and now deliver ‘Take Me Back’, a fine debut single release on a label that we all have our eyes on!
LO’99 & Marshall F ‘Take Me Back’ is out on Medium Rare Recordings December 3rd 2014.
