London spoken word artist Suli Breaks on new EP Synthetic Reflections

Acclaimed spoken word artist Suli Breaks is set to make waves with the release of his highly anticipated new EP, Synthetic Reflections, out on 22 March 2025. Following a foray into the electronic music scene last year, Suli continues to push creative boundaries, blending his signature thought-provoking spoken word with electronic music.

Suli says: “Synthetic Reflections explores ways to channel emotions in environments where they’re rarely discussed, capturing those feelings on the dance floor. If my words can find a place there, where else might they have the potential to resonate?”

New single ‘North London’ serves as a homage to his hometown, with lyrics painting a vivid picture of growing up in North London. With Suli reflecting on the sounds, experiences, and struggles of youth, there’s a sense of nostalgia and realism, and the cyclical nature of chasing dreams in an environment that offers limited opportunities.

The wordsmith unveiled his debut solo electronic EP, Synthetic Heartbreak, in June 2024. Teaming up with London producer M4L4Y4, he explored themes of digital love and emotional detachment, crafting a project that resonated deeply with both poetry lovers and electronic music enthusiasts alike.

In July 2024, Suli was featured on dance music icons Faithless’ lead single, Find a Way, from their forthcoming album Champion Sound. The track, lauded for its socially conscious messaging and seamless fusion of spoken word and electronic rhythms, showcased Suli’s ability to captivate audiences with his evocative storytelling.

With Synthetic Reflections, Suli Breaks embarks on the next chapter of his musical evolution, cementing his status as a trailblazer unafraid to blend genres. As his presence in electronic music grows, this forthcoming release promises to be another bold step in an already remarkable journey.
