London’s Ultimate Free Event This Summeradds Even More To Its Jam-packed Line Up

With ever-growing demand Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park announces even more FREE activities to their jam-packed midweek festival Open House

In collaboration with The Royal Parks, the free programme takes place between two legendary weekends of music, with headliners Celine Dion (5thJuly), Stevie Wonder (6th July), Barbra Streisand (7th July), Florence + the Machine / The National (13th July) and Robbie Williams (14th July).

Joining the likes of Sigur Rós ‘Liminal’ (SOLD OUT), Piazza Birra Moretti, Chickenshed Family Theatre, The Royal Parks Showcase and London’s best outdoor cinema are some of the UKs most anticipated outdoor activities!

Calling all big kids and small, Open House welcomes The Playgroundfeaturing giant lawn games for all ages, all week long! For those Alice in Wonderland types, dive in the rabbit hole of Croquet or for something a little more sophisticated, have a go at Boules. Other games include, giant snakes & ladders, garden skittles, giant jenga and giant connect four.

lululemon is back for its second year, with ambassadors and friends Annie ClarkeMariel Witmond and Jonelle Lewis leading an energizing vinyasa practice, flowing to the sound of live performances by the London Contemporary Voices Choir and DJ Tom Middleton. Complete the experience with a restorative breathwork session by lululemon ambassador Richie “The Breath Guy” Bostock to leave you on a natural high.

Practicing together for the first time ever, these teachers will change your perception of what you thought yoga could be. Within the serene surroundings of Hyde Park and serenaded by live music, they will bring together a community of yogis to be lifted up by a powerful asana flow and blissed out by a breathing meditation. Prepare for an experience you’ll never forget.

This class welcomes all levels – whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first or thousandth time. It is free to attend and will take place in front of the Great Oak Stage at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park.

Open House welcomes Gelong Thubten, monk, speaker, meditation teacher and author to for one night only on Thursday 11th July. Gelong specialises in providing non-religious mindfulness workshops and training programmes. Together you can spend the evening learning to master the art of mindfulness and listening to Gelong’s story on how he became a monk.

As part of Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park’s work with the local community, Open House will play home to a range of extraordinary talent from University of Westminster and BIMM London. Taking place from Monday to Wednesday on the Barclaycard stage you can experience the best in up and coming talents from Tally Spear, Elyona Biney, Helena Deans, Karim and Z E B E D E.

Barclaycard invites you to reconnect with your senses at the Barclaycard Sensorium.
