Lost Frequencies announces highly-anticipated new single and debut album

After worldwide hit singles ‘Are You With Me’  and ‘Reality’, Lost Frequencies just took another big step towards the continuation of his meteoric rise to international stardom. The young Belgian prodigy inked a deal with Armada Music, signing his forthcoming album to the Amsterdam-based record company.

The first single of Lost Frequencies’ forthcoming album, ‘Beautiful Life’, is already set for release on June 3rd this year and is to feature in the official aftermovie of Tomorrowland Brasil. The acclaimed festival touched down in the South-American country last week and Lost Frequencies himself performed at the main stage on Thursday April 21st.

Lost Frequencies, born Felix de Laet, released debut single ‘Are You With Me’ on Armada Music sub label The Bearded Man less than two years ago, after which it grew to be a worldwide hit single. ‘Are You With Me’ was awarded with certified gold, platinum, and multiple platinum in more than a dozen countries, all the while the song racked up more than half a billion streams to date. In addition, ‘Are You With Me’ claimed the sought-after #1 spot in the UK Singles Charts.

‘Reality’, the second single of the Belgian superstar, was made in collaboration with singer-songwriter Janieck Devy and followed in the footsteps of ‘Are You With Me’. The record was also released on The Bearded Man last year; it reeled in certified gold and platinum in almost as many countries as its predecessor and adds more than 300 million streams to the tally. On top of that, ‘Reality’ went on to claim the #1 spot in the European Airplay Chart in 2015.

Maykel Piron, CEO Armada Music: “We are more than excited about extending the collaboration with Felix (Lost Frequencies). He is not only a talented producer and DJ, but also a great person. A ‘friend of the office’ who inspires the staff with his music and spirit. We love that! We can’t wait to release the follow-up to ‘Are You With Me’ and ‘Reality’. ‘Beautiful Life’ is the perfect single.”

Lost Frequencies: “I am so excited to show the world all of the new music I’ve been working on since ‘Are You With Me’ and ‘Reality’. I still can’t really comprehend all that has happened, but I’m sure that the renewed partnership between Armada Music, my team, and myself will spark yet another crazy journey for ‘Beautiful Life’ and my debut album.”

Nick Royaards, manager of Lost Frequencies: “It has been an amazing journey so far and we hope the fans are ready to embrace all of the new music Lost Frequencies has ready to share. We have strong belief in Armada Music and know Maykel Piron and his team will do an incredible job with both the single and the new album. The synergy between our teams is something very special and has produced some truly amazing results to date, so we’re excited for what’s to come."
