Lost Frequencies & Calum Scott ‘Where Are You Now’ hits 1 billion Spotify streams

Renowned Belgian artist Lost Frequencies has achieved a remarkable milestone, solidifying his position as a global music sensation. With an impressive career that has taken him from local stages to international stardom, Lost Frequencies, also known as Felix De Laet, is the first Belgian artist to ever reached an astounding 1 BILLION Spotify streams and 1.7 BILLION overall streams, a testament to his widespread appeal and enduring influence in the music industry. He was the first Belgian artist to score a #1 in the UK Official Charts and breaking into the top 100 Spotify artists in the past, as ‘Where Are You Now’ with UK vocalist Calum Scott also earned him his first Brit Award nomination for ‘International Song Of The Year’ as it simultaneously topped the UK Big Top 40 charts- and it seems he keeps on pioneering.

Since his breakthrough in 2014, Lost Frequencies has consistently captivated audiences with his unique blend of melodic deep house and pop-infused sounds. His chart-topping tracks, such as ‘Where Are You Now’ have garnered critical acclaim and cemented his position as one of Belgium’s most celebrated musical exports. Lost Frequencies’ recent achievement of a billion Spotify streams serves as a resounding affirmation of his cross-genre appeal. His music resonates with listeners across the globe, transcending borders and uniting audiences through a shared love for his distinctive sound.

Commenting on this milestone, Lost Frequencies expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m incredibly thankful for the love and support from my fans all around the world. It’s truly an honor to see my music reaching such a vast audience on Spotify. This achievement is a testament to the power of music to bring people together.”

Lost Frequencies’ success extends beyond his record-breaking Spotify streams. He has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious music festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Lollapolooza, Rock in Rio and more, his energetic live performances garnering him a dedicated fan base that spans continents. His ability to seamlessly fuse various musical elements has garnered admiration from both fans and fellow artists alike as he has also just released his new single ‘Dive’ via Sony Music, out now!
