French label Scorpio Music announce today the official release of ‘LØVE’ by Asha – and launches a huge new Artist Development Deal in conjunction with WAVO.
The single, initially a free-to-download Easter surprise from the label, has already proven a huge hit with fans thanks to warm, organic piano elements, soft, rolling percussion and beautifully down-tempo, relaxed guest vocals from Sigourney K and Loyal.
Now budding bedroom producers will be able to get their hands on it as the Scorpio Music – France’s most successful electronic imprints, opens up the floor for a WAVO-affiliated remix competition.
Open to producers from all genres, the only conditions of the competitions are the edit must be over 100BPM, must run as a Radio Edit (under 4 minutes) and cannot contain any unauthorised samples or stems.
First prize comprises professional mastering, release on the official Asha ‘LØVE’ remix package (delivered on all streaming platforms and online stores), video upload to Scorpio’s YouTube channel with +1.2M subscribers and push across Scorpio Music social channels. Two runners up will see their singles released as part of the official remix package, uploaded to YouTube and pushed across social media.
All three top picks will also be given direct access to the Scorpio Music A&R department, who will be available to give feedback, tips and reviews on any other production for a three month timeframe.
For full competition terms & conditions, visit https://wavo.me/terms-of-service. Entrants must be over 18, or 13-18-years-olds with parental consent. Tracks must be submitted to WAVO by May 31st 2017.
