Global platinum-selling four piece RUDIMENTAL have unveiled a new track from their upcoming album, We The Generation. Check out the reggae-influenced Love Aint Just A Word here, which is available to download and stream from today.
Love Aint Just A Word features grime legend Dizzee Rascal, whom the band have been wanting to work with for a while. Rudimental say about the collaboration, “We grew up with Dizzee; we all used to hang out as kids together in East London. We were working on a track and thought he’d be perfect on it, so invited him over to our studio, Major Toms. He came over one night, liked what he heard, so wrote and recorded his verse there and then! So glad that we finally got to work together.”
The track also features Anne-Marie, who has toured with the band and has just signed to their newly-launched record label, Major Toms. Her distinctive vocals can also be heard on Rumour Mill, the classy house track that recently debuted online here. You can instantly download both tracks, along with the epic Never Let You Go, from the links below. The eagerly awaited full We The Generation album is released on 18th September on Major Toms/Asylum.
The band have kick-started the summer by taking their huge new live show to festivals around the world. Fresh from headlining their own festival Wild Life in Brighton, performing at Bonaroo and Governor’s Ball in the States, headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury and supporting label-mate Ed Sheeran at Wembley Stadium, the band are headlining Lovebox Festival in Victoria Park, London tonight, Friday 17th July.
