On Saturday 27th July Love Family Park will be inviting 20,000 dance music aficionados for techno explorations under the sun. Returning for an almighty 23rd edition, Love Family Park welcomes back house and techno heavyweights to its new Rüsselsheim home. Year on year the festival brings in the scene’s finest DJs and 2019’s edition be no different, welcoming mainstays Sven Väth, Solomun, Karotte, Ricardo Villalobos, Butch and many more, as well as Charlotte De Witte and Peggy Gou, Barnt and Jamie Jones making their Love Family Park debuts. Across 12 hours and three stages Love Family Park will bring in musical royalty to soundtrack the day, in the idyllic location of the Mainvorland meadow, Rüsselsheim, Love Family Park is the perfect place for techno aficionados to lose themselves in the music. Returning from last year’s debut, one of the scene’s leading ladies Amelie Lens will be bringing her unique strain of hypnotic, awe-inducing techno. Solomun – infamous for his smooth selections and deep cuts will be joined alongside Drumcode label boss and cornerstone of the European techno scene, Adam Beyer. Delivering solid techno on the deeper side of the musical spectrum is Chris Liebing who will grace the decks alongside bonafide legend Barnt.
There since the very first edition Papa Sven Väth will be bringing his wide spanning selections and historical knowledge, alongside Ricardo Villalobos – a legend in his own right and one of the scene’s most revered selectors. Hot Creations label boss and deep house selector Jamie Jones will be making a much anticipated return, and for what will be an absolute festival highlight Peggy Gou will be making a highly anticipated first appearance at Love Family Park.
Also heading up the bill is global ambassador of techno Marco Carola, who’ll be joined by Butch. Festival goers can expect mind altering techno from multi-dimensional duo Pan-Pot. and effortless techno selections from Belgian superstar Charlotte De Witte making her Love Family Park debut. Illustrious producer Maceo Plex will also be making his way to Russelsheim, alongside staple in the house and techno scene – Karotte. Next up, Boris Brejcha will be providing his self described high tech minimal sound – big room techno duo Shdw & Obscure Shape round off the bill.
Just over an hours flight away from London, Paris, Milan and many other European cities -for under £100, Love Family Park is perfect for a weekend getaway. Rüsselsheim train station, a 7 minutes walk from the festival site, is only a few stops away from Frankfurt international airport and well connected to other cities in Europe. The city has a wealth of accommodation just a stone’s throw away from the festival site, with Airbnb’s, hostels and hotels to cater for all budgets.
