Love Saves The Day announce headliner for 2017

Striding into their sixth year, Love Saves The Day are excited to reveal Fat Freddy's Drop, the first of their Sunday headliners set to play at the 2017 event.

Internationally regarded as one of the world's finest live draws, New Zealand based soul pirates Fat Freddy's Drop may have been around since the early noughties, but they are truly the most modern of institutions. Their independently controlled underground music has sold in excess of three quarters of a million albums.

Heading to Eastville Park in 2017, FFD's last three LPs have navigated their way from the incubator of sunshine reggae through a colour-saturated field of soul psychedelia before swerving onto a desolate Detroit superhighway at night. It's a sound that demands to be heard live, a potent mixture of jazz virtuosity and diaphragm-wrecking digital sonics.

Love Saves The Day are also thrilled to announce their stage partners for the 2017 event. Saturday 27th May will welcome Futureboogie, Just Jack and Gutterfunk, whilst Sunday sees Who Cares, Crack Magazine, The Blast, Run, Cult and Hold Tight. Whilst festival goers will be able to catch Shambarber, Dance Off, Arcadia Afterburner, Twisted Theatre, Bump Rollerdisco, Inflatable Church and the Brystal Maze across both days of the event.

More acts coming soon…..

Tickets are on sale now via the Love Saves The Day website www.lovesavestheday.org
