Carly Foxx - Love Thing EP

Carly Foxx returns to her Love Story Recordings this March with ‘Love Thing’, backed with a remix from Detroit’s Terrence Parker.

Carly Foxx launched the Love Story imprint in July of 2017 and alongside her own work,  has welcomed material from the likes of Nark, MANIK, Pezzner and La Fraicheur whilst picking up support along the way from Honey Soundsystem, Chloe, Acid Pauli & Bill Brewster.

Here we see Carly make a return following the label's inaugural release ‘Call My Name.’ This time round it’s ‘Love Thing’ on offer and Foxx’s robust house original traverses through acid-tinged bass hits, crunchy rhythms, 303 licks and an amalgamation of hypnotic vocal phrases from Carly herself.

On the remix front, Terrence Parker offers up his take on things with his ‘Detroit Groove Mix.’ As the name would suggest, and in true Detroit House fashion, Parker instills a funk-infused musicality, introducing

snaking live bass grooves, twinkling Rhodes chimes and heady stab sequences whilst easing in the original vocals throughout.
