Louis La Roche & Mylo - Lovers

This is a truly special collaboration. Two of Electronic Music’s most innovative and decorated artists in Louis La Roche and Mylo combine to present ‘Lovers’. Mylo’s first foray in to production since 2004’s ‘Destroy Rock And Roll, the tune immediately has the excitement factor on lock. Norwich based Louis La Roche also has a history in forward thinking Electronic music that many are envious of. Remixing for Spiller and Basement Jaxx, as well as being supported by Annie Mac, MixMag, DJ Mag and Pete Tong, to name just a few, his incredible sound and hard work has not gone unnoticed. ‘Lovers’ is the anthemic, fresh and intricate release that breaks boundaries and brings the classic 90’s House sound in to the new generation.

Combining Italian Disco and House, the track starts with powerful percussion taking the lead, before being joined with airy synths and an addictive vocal line. With a lead synth to die for, the groove oozes from the track with a purring bass line adding the finishing touch to the Disco infused soundscape forged by these two heavyweights. Masterfully executed, there is a constant change in timbre to keep the listener hooked, whilst keeping the main 80’s esque motif throughout the whole track. It takes a certain caliber of producer to create something so beautifully simple yet so very breathtaking; a feat achieved by Mylo and Louis La Roche.

The remix on the flipside is crafted by Treasurefingers, based out of Atlanta, USA. Adding even more flavour and vibes to the original, his rising fame is being firmly supported in this release. Available via Ever After Records, La Roche’s own imprint, this is not one to miss.
