HONNE - Loves The Jobs You Hate

London based duo HONNE are pleased to announce the release of their brand new Over Lover EP. Featuring four new tracks, the EP will be released on 2 September via Tatemae Recordings/Atlantic Records. The lead track Loves The Jobs You Hate was given its first outing as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record last night and is now available to listen to online here.

From the rhythmic upbeat lead track, written “about frustrations and limitations of modern life,” to the sultry No Place Like Home – a song the pair wrote between London and Tokyo, featuring the effortless vocals of London newcomer Jones – James says “we feel this EP could be our most interesting and varied set of songs yet. We hope everyone gets as much out of listening to it as we did writing it.”  LTJYH is available to download from today, 19 August, with the full EP following on 2 Sept.

Earlier this year the band released their third EP, Coastal Love, to critical acclaim. Previous EP releases include Warm On A Cold Night and All in the Value; the latter features seductive song The Night, which is on over 2 million plays on SoundCloud and 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Furthermore, HONNE are pleased to announce their first headline UK tour, kicking off in Leeds on 13 October, taking in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton before wrapping up at London’s Oval Space on 21 October. The tour will round off an exciting year of full band live shows, including sold out London nights at The Laundry and Electrowerkz, a support slot with Kwabs, plus a summer of  festival performances at The Great Escape, Field Day and Latitude.
