Lu.Ci’s journey has been driven by a natural desire to create from an early age. Her artistic pursuits are varied and include live bands, musicals, singing lessons, painting, and choir performances. Her unique musical approach has been significantly shaped by her varied background. She returns with her latest offering ‘Freedom’. With powerful lyricism and an epic beat on the dynamic tune, the song captures the fierce complexity of her evocative storytelling. Produced in her home studio, the alternative track features bass, drums, guitars, mellotron, and samples, along with Lu.Ci’s vocals where she is both singing and rapping.
The song swiftly claimed the No. 1 spot on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts within 15 minutes of its debut. Later that day, it climbed to No. 4 on the main iTunes Charts, standing alongside global icons like Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, and Taylor Swift.
In just three days, ‘Freedom’ surged to No. 30 on the Big Top 40 Charts and received airplay on Global’s Capital and Heart Radio.
Following the success of her previous chart-topper, ‘I Cried’ which also dominated the iTunes singer-songwriter charts, Lu.Ci was inspired to return to the studio and record ‘Freedom’.
