A brilliant summer series saw Shoreditch hotspot, XOYO, get back to its roots with an innovative programme of forward-thinking sounds from across the underground spectrum in collaboration with game-changing promoters LWE. Now the venue announces four fantastic events every Saturday this September as it continues to push electronic musical boundaries, featuring Route 94, Alex Virgo, Big Miz, Jasper James, Matt Guy plus many special guests. Tickets for all events are now on sale at www.xoyo.co.uk.
Things kick off on September 7th when chart-topping producer Route 94 takes the reins with his tech and minimal house sounds. Following a series of strong releases on Solid Grooves, clubbers can also expect vocal-driven track selections from Route 94’s appearance. He’ll be backed up by sets from the up-and-coming EVIE who guarantees non-stop dancing, and Mista Ray.
September 14th sees London resident and Pomme Frite label owner, Alex Virgo hold down XOYO for a night filled with eclectic house and disco selections. Building off a well-respected two-year Balami radio residency, Alex is a groove master and deep-digging selector and will be joined by the fun-injecting Dance System aka James Connolly, co-founder of highly influential labels, Night Slugs and System Records, plus more special guests.
On September 21st, larger-than-life Glaswegian house and techno star Big Miz brings his playful and energetic styles, blends of acidic, 808 rhythms, disco inflections and pure house music hedonism. He will be joined by Jasper James, a key figure in Glasgow’s vibrant house scene with an off-kilter house and heads-down techno sound, formed after years of being a top-level star who came through at Glasgow’s legendary Sub Club.
September 28th is when Matt Guy brings his signature energy and friends to one of London’s most iconic venues. He has a dynamic style and huge tracks like ‘Set My Mind Free’ earned him Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, so expect a night of only the freshest and most vibrant sounds.
XOYO is one of the most authentic clubs in the capital and is known for being a safe, inclusive space that is welcoming to all. The bi-level nightclub features an expertly tuned sound system, immersive production and cultured crowds that make for unforgettable, music-centric experiences.
Tickets for these unmissable events are available now from www.xoyo.co.uk.
