MADE Festival Teams with Weird Science: Fish56Octagon Kicks Off Summer Series

Birmingham’s biggest and best festival, MADE Festival has teamed up with renowned West Midlands promoters Weird Science to launch a new summer series of festival-style daytime events in their spiritual home of Digbeth. With six massive shows lined up from May to September, MADE Festival and Weird Science are treating Brum to a huge summer of music with some of the biggest names across genres in electronic music kicking off on 31st May with the party-starting, electronic music encyclopedia himself, Fish56Octagon.

‘MADE Festival and Weird Science Presents…’ welcomes the viral social media sensation turned label head and internationally touring DJ Fish56Octagon back to Birmingham for his biggest headline show to date as he delivers his ‘Undercurrents’ festival experience. From 4-10:30 pm at Digbeth Arena, ravers can look forward to an “epic daytime journey through quality dance music” with Fish and a still-to-be-announced lineup of quality acts. Tickets start at £10 and go on presale at 09:56 am on Thursday, 20th March, with general sale available from 09:56 am on Friday, 21st March. Sign up here: https://www.skiddle.com/e/40662639.

Fish56Octagon has amassed a legion of followers across the world thanks to his quirky but passionate and well-informed posts about electronic music. He’s backed this up with his undoubted ability to get any party jumping, performing sold-out shows and festivals that can’t keep up with demand. His ‘Undercurrents’ event at Digbeth Arena on 31st May will be an unmissable celebration of dance music and the perfect way to kickstart the ‘MADE Festival and Weird Science Presents…’ summer series.

Following a wave of significant UK festival cancellations and the unprecedented challenges faced by promoters in 2025, MADE has pivoted to a series of one-day experiences that will follow in the footsteps of the annual festival that has welcomed more than 150,000 partygoers over the last 11 years. Together with Weird Science, this bold move enables MADE to continue its support of music, arts, and culture and underlines its commitment to continue to provide a platform to showcase the West Midlands’ hottest rising talent alongside industry-leading names.
