The four track EP, titled after the floor-shaking, lead track ‘It Began In Detroit’ and comes backed-up by the low slung, bass roller ‘Do It’, the sliced up vocal-house influenced ‘High’ and the beautifully melodic ‘Move My Soul’ featuring vocals from upcoming singer-songwriter, Alison Levi.
The title track has already bagged ‘Tune of the Month’ and 9/10 in the latest Mixmag & DJ Mag hit it with ‘The Money Shot’ and another huge 9/10 across the full EP in their beats & bass review.
“Mafia Kiss came to our attention just over 18 months ago, when we heard a slick load of cool, bass-driven edits he had knocked up. Keen to hear more, we subsequently signed him to our label and here it is, his debut EP! Getting attention from the garage, bass, house and even the grime world, this maker of stripped down beats is headed for an exciting future.” – Stanton Warriors
