Khmer/Vietnamese producer Maggie Tra returns with a dance-floor anthem ‘Don’t Go,’ a touching single that is a love letter to the dancers and clubs.
Filled with juxtapositions that beautifully counteract each other, ‘Don’t Go’ is a techno track that goes between euphoria, escapism, sadness and melancholy. All the feels that a club can make you feel, whilst also finding community and connection.
On the single, Maggie said, “I really wanted to make a track that was dedicated to the dancers and clubs that I often play at. The love and feeling, energy that people give, I wanted to give back with this tune,”
“I’ve found a beautiful community when I play and make music, and this song celebrates and encapsulate that,”
‘Don’t Go’ follows the release of her sophomore album ‘Very Vui’ an album that reflects her Vietnamese heritage. Maggie has released two albums since her debut as a producer two years ago.
