Magit Cacoon Returns to Mago Music with ‘The Machine’

Out now, ‘The Machine’ marks Magit’s first release on her own label since dropping ‘Adoration’ in 2022

Internationally celebrated DJ, producer and Mago Music label boss Magit Cacoon makes her eagerly anticipated return to her flourishing imprint this August with the announcement of her brand new original single ‘The Machine’.

One of the industry’s most prolific producers, with over 150 career releases on leading labels including Renaissance Records, Radikon, Second State, Ipso, Crosstown Rebels, Watergate, Clepsydra, Knee Deep In Sound and Monaberry (to name a few), this latest single from Magit is a particularly special one, as it sees the in-demand hit maker make a return to her beloved Mago Music imprint for the first time since 2022.

Remaining true to her trademark sound, the ‘The Machine’ is a texture-rich fusion of industrial synths and tightly sequenced percussion, tied together within the trippy influences for which Magit has become known over the years. Exploring a bold, mind-bending sound palette, the single has a starkly raw allure; full of dark textures and pulsating tones, layered together with staggered vox drops and a piercing breakdown riff to create a peak-time record that has already been doing considerable damage across international dancefloors this summer.

Speaking about the single Magit commented:

“I’m so happy to finally come back to Mago Music for this release. The Machine is a very special record for me and I couldn’t think of a better home for it, other than my own one. It’s been getting some amazing reactions in my sets over the past few months, so I’m really looking forward to finally sharing it with the world.”
