Ahead of a forthcoming release via MistaJam’s Speakerbox imprint & Public Demand Records, Majestic has announced new single ‘Creeping In The Dark’, complete with an excellent new mix from Armand van Helden.
With the bouncy, peaktime flow of Majestic’s original mix having already made a notable impression since first surfacing in 2013, mysterious, CGI-animated lyricist Jungle 70 provides a textbook garage flow that feels just as measured and potent over van Helden’s freshly-cut rework. Flipping the original on it’s head, he gives ‘Creeping In The Dark’ a classic 90’s twist with big-room, metallic synth-lines and a charging new sense of rhythm and swing.
Adding an entirely new dance floor take to Majestic’s original cut, van Helden’s remix acknowledges that whilst ‘Creeping In The Dark’ retains a distinctly UK accent, it’s reach is now definitively global.
