Makin’ Moves x Rehab presents Ash Lauryn

International Women’s Day

also featuring LEV & Faro, Lauren Thompson & Arlyss

Saturday 8th March – 10pm-4am

@ Brixton Jamm

Makin’ Moves and Rehab London kick off 2025 with their International Women’s Day collab event with an Exclusive debut from Detroit’s international headliner, Ash Lauryn on Saturday March 8th. The party spans two rooms and hosts a riveting female line up of talents including London’s rising duo LEV & Faro, who are joined by Lauren Thompson and Italian newcomer, Arlyss, at South London’s popular venue, Brixton Jamm.

Boosted by a state-of-the-art Martin audio sound system, Makin Moves and Rehab resident DJs Matt, Jamesey and Davide Del Vecchio and a sprung wooden dance floor to get down on, this is a standout date in the March diary.

Flying in for an Exclusive headline show in Room One is one of the best female underground DJs on the planet, Ash Lauryn. Her passion for music has led her across the globe, from her past residencies in Atlanta including Expressions, and Deep South under the stewardship of NDATL Muzik’s Kai Alce, to gigs at Nowadays in New York, Berlin’s Panorama Bar and Printworks in London. With a monthly NTS Radio show and annual Movement Festival Detroit party,  Ash has also played with musicians Joe Claussell and Moodymann with her “Underground & Black” track with Kai, a house staple. She has also headlined renowned international festivals like Afropunk, Dimensions, and Flow Festival in Helsinki, and recently celebrated her first child’s 1st Birthday. Joining Ash in Room One are Makin’ Moves residents Matt and Jamesey and Rehab head honcho, Davide Del Vecchio, fresh from his infamous House of Groove events at Blue Marlin.

The party continues in Room Two as London’s hottest female duo, LEV & Faro, go back to back for a serious house mixdown. Having carved out a niche as two of the DJs to watch playing regular stints at We Out Here Festival, Southport Weekender, Glitterbox and their monthly free event at Hackney’s BBE Record Store. They are joined by Lauren Thompson, who’s been tearing things up lately with sets at Fabric and Blue Marlin and introducing Rehab new talent, Arlyss and Dan Cluskey.

Both Makin’ Moves and Rehab LDN have a long-standing history of putting on quality deep house nights in London, building foundations around their residents as well as booking the best upcoming DJ talent and this International Women’s Day event is significant as they welcome debut sets from leading ladies Ash Lauyrn, LEV & Faro, Lauren Thompson and Arlyss.
