This October will see 8bit, Objectivity and Diynamic artist Gorge join Audiojack’s Gruuv imprint with the ‘Maleika’ EP, featuring two originals from the German producer.
Renowned for the ‘Mannheim Sound’ of deep, organic house music, Gorge has been releasing music for over 15 years. Co-running 8bit records with Nick Curly and heading up his own imprint Katchuli, he’s built a solid reputation and released his debut album, ‘Mood’, while also offering over forty remixes to his name. Now making his debut on Audiojack’s Gruuv imprint, Gorge brings with him experience and passion for his signature groove-led house.
Title track ‘Maleika’ kicks off the ‘Maleika EP’ with a signature bubbling bass line acting as the driving force while filtered vocals fall in and out of focus and regular intervals of rich noise-texture ebb and flow throughout the composition.
‘411’ follows and closes out the release with a resonant, undulating low end running alongside clattering percussion and hypnotic diva style spoken word vocal lines.
Gorge’s ‘Maleika’ EP drops on Audiojack’s Gruuv this October.
