Manston & Simms Drop Monster Piano House Anthem ‘Freedom’

UK veteran producers Manston & Simms are back on London’s leading independent label, Perfect Havoc, with new single ‘Freedom’. True to the roots of these longstanding producers, it’s a stomping club track at its core, yet with uplifting piano house vibes that will cast the mind away from the gloom of the UK winter back to the glistening sunsets of Ibiza this summer.

With over twenty years in the industry, Manston & Simms aka Andy Manston and Julian Napolitano were responsible for numerous chart hits throughout the 90’s and early 00’s under various guises. Rave heads will remember them as Perpetual Motion and the hi-energy single ‘Keep on Dancin’’ (Positiva), as Mankey with ‘Believe In Me’ (Ministry Of Sound), and as Quo Vadis signed to the home of Judge Jules, Serious Records.

As producers in modern times, the Manston & Simms alias exudes a bang-up-to-date sound as was showcased on their previous hit record on Perfect Havoc ‘Sunshine’. That received top airplay on BBC Radio 1’s Party Anthems with 6 consecutive weekly spins.

As far as their remix and collaboration catalogue goes, it’s a Who’s Who of popular music. They’ve worked with everyone from Beyoncé, Rihanna and Katy Perry to Basement Jaxx, Skepta, and Lenny Kravitz.

Andy Manston is also the promotor of the massive Clockwork Orange club brand which has dominated clubland over the last five years with some huge events. And when not in the club, Andy can be found on the airwaves of one of the UK’s biggest underground dance stations, UK Centreforce 88.3, with his drive time radio show Filthy Friday.

The Manston & Simms sound is well at home on Perfect Havoc which has had its most successful year yet, thanks to a talent-packed roster including the three-time Brit Award nominated Joel Corry, double platinum producer Tobtok, PS1, James Hurr, Bingo Players, Michael Gray, Just Kiddin, Parx and more.
