Maria Nocheydia Dials Into the Dancefloor with New Single “Acid Voicemail”

Released alongside a remix from fellow compatriot Ale Jandro, the two-part package is available now via Phisica Records

Mexican DJ and producer Maria Nocheydia steps into the spotlight with her latest release “Acid Voicemail”,out now Phisica Records. Known for her deep connection to rave culture and her genre-blurring, high-impact sets, Maria brings her signature sound into full focus with this acid-tinged club track – her most forward-driving release to date. Backed by a remix from Ale Jandro, the single captures the hypnotic energy that has earned Maria a place on some of the world’s most revered stages and in the playlists of cutting-edge selectors around the globe.

With “Acid Voicemail”, Maria delivers an emotionally charged club weapon – one that straddles the line between peak-time rave energy and immersive sonic storytelling. Built around a dynamic acid bassline and hypnotic vocal fragments, the track drives forward with mechanical precision and psychedelic tension. The result is a composition that feels both underground and transcendent, a late-night transmission beamed in straight from the heart of the dancefloor.

Adding further heat to the release is a remix from fellow Mexican producer Ale Jandro, who reimagines the track through a deeper, more melodic lens. His version maintains the original’s atmospheric core while injecting piano house riffs and playful synth stabs, making it equally suited for afterhours dancefloors and high-fidelity listening experiences.

Maria Nocheydia’s rise has been anything but ordinary. Born and raised in Mexico City, Maria began her journey as a DJ at just 17 years old, quickly earning a residency at the influential club CSRhodesia. Deeply inspired by rave culture, her evolution from local selector to international force has been driven by her passion for crafting transformative musical experiences.

After launching her professional touring career in 2020, Maria was soon invited to perform on the legendary Mayan Warrior art car at Burning Man, a moment that solidified her status as a rising star in the global scene. Since then, she has shared stages with some of her most revered influences and performed at world-renowned events and venues including EDC Mexico, Day Zero, Circoloco, Hi Ibiza, Sundream, Maxa, Kater Blau, Sisyphos, and many more.

Maria’s deep and diverse sound has found a home on the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Rose Avenue Records(with her Sundream Baja Mix in 2023), Electronic Groove, Riotvan and of course, Phisica Records, where she continues to refine her voice as both a DJ and producer. Her style – a genre-fluid blend of acid, techno, breaks, and leftfield house – has earned her a devoted following and critical acclaim from tastemakers around the globe.
