Following the success of recent singles Sobers Me and Missing Me, American-French producer MarMar returns with an exciting new offering, You’re My One., with a little from Australian artist arnii, whose enchanting lyricism and vocals bring a fresh emotional depth to the track.
Showcasing a vibrant blend of dance music with UKG and future-house elements, You’re My One is the latest peek into MarMar’s forthcoming EP.
MarMar shares; “This song has been a special idea to me for such a long while. I knew it needed vocals, so I actually wrote and recorded some a bit ago that didn’t make the cut. It’s funny because some of the vocal chops actually made it into the final. I knew I had to bring arnii on board to write and record something. We decided to create this story of a girl who is kinda explaining to her friends that, after a long string of bad relationships, she’s found her ‘One.’ Then later in the song, it shifts to her talking to this guy, telling him how she feels and how she loves who he is.”
With its infectious energy and emotive narrative, You’re My One is set to be another standout release for MarMar, solidifying his reputation as a genre-blending innovator in the electronic music scene.
