With the topline redone but still retaining the Dion-esque wallop of vocal power, Simon brings in all the orchestral house elements that make for a tidy hit: warm piano, rhythmic claps, driving percussion, all building up towards the ‘hands-in-the-air’ drop. “I wanted to make a fun Spring/Summer cover and transform this classic tune into a vibey melody with a hint of tropical flavor,” Simon said.
