More entertaining music from ARCo. head honcho Martin Iveson aka Atjazz. This time in the form of his well sought after ‘Cobra’, a song inspired by Indian Beer, yes!, it’s that basic. This song has been for the most of 2013 & 2014 rocking festival dance-floors, clubs & boat parties worldwide and Martin has kept this well polished jewel under his belt for quite some time. Backing Cobra up with a strong percussive backbone is the one and only Gabrielle Poso, a Yoruba Records regular and a dam fine human being, Clicking out Kalimba loops & conga rhythms really helps cobra to enter into an organic realm.
Pulling up along side Martin and dropping and amazingly well crafted deep workout is Yoruba Records’ very own Afefe Iku. A man who does not remix songs willy-nilly and a man that is quite difficult to pin down, Afefe Iku’s tight hold over his sonic output makes this collaboration nothing but an honour for all of us at Atjazz Record Company.
