Martin Jensen, Amber Van Day and N.F.I are busy writing anthems on latest single ‘Can’t Come To The Phone’

Martin Jensen wastes no time in building the momentum that has been flowing off the back of recent releases as he works alongside esteemed singer/songwriter Amber Van Day and production talents N.F.I for his latest offering, ‘Can’t Come To The Phone’.

Can’t Come To The Phone’ emanates with a playful nature, the perfect track to signal summer fun and for times when you are too busy making memories to deal with life’s serious side.

The track starts with deep chords and filtered tones lying underneath a processed vocal. The chords open with the introduction of the first verse, all building towards the chorus and heavily anticipated drop. The beat is driving, as the bassline swings with a groove that makes it equally primed for dancing as the vocals are for singing. ‘Can’t Come to the Phone’ evolves for its duration, as new elements are introduced to keep it fresh throughout.

Martin Jensen has been on a roll in the first half of 2021. After taking part as a new judge in the Danish X Factor Series, the first DJ to hold the position, and announcing the hotly anticipated ‘Me, Myself Live shows’ off the back of his hugely impressive ‘Me, Myself Online’ livestream series, Martin has been keeping busy with a string of high-profile releases. Jensenkicked off the year with his single ‘2019’ with Georgia Ku and followed up by linking up with a triumvirate of in-demand producers RompassoFAULHABER and JONASU for ‘Make My Mind Go’. These continue in the same vein as recent times, with last year’s singles such as his collaboration with Imbanek on ‘I’m Just Feelin’’, and ‘Don’t Cry For Me’ with Jason Derulo and Alok, lighting the fire for what has been a stellar 18 months for the Danish artist.

UK-based artist Amber Van Day has also impressed since bursting on the scene as an artist and a songwriter, releasing her solo single ‘Kids In the Corner’ which climbed to No 17 in the Global Shazam Charts after it was used in the Netflix series ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ and amassing 250 million streams with her features alongside artists such as HUGELAlok and most recently Wilkinson on their collaboration ‘Keep Dancing’.

N.F.I boasts an incredible list of credits, having written for a wide variety of artists including ImanbekCheat CodesTiësto and Sigala. Last year saw N.F.I drop their first single, stepping out from the curtain for their debut ‘Don’t Talk To Me’, alongside Riton and Faangs, which was picked up by the likes of BBC Radio 1Kiss FM and Sirius XM.
